On Tuesday of this week, Julianne Hough of Dancing with the Stars went under the knife to have her appendix removed, but she'll be back on her feet pretty soon. She is expected to be out of the dance part of the competition for at least two weeks, but she's still planning on showcasing her other career – as a country music singer – during the Dancing with the Stars results show on November 11.
Julianne Hough has successfully completely surgery in Los Angeles and is resting comfortably at home with her family. She was recently diagnosed with endometriosis, which can cause cysts to form on her ovaries. Removing her appendix was a preventive measure because the cysts can cause the appendix to become infected later on.
